Music in St. Kevin's Church
St. Kevin's vaulted ceiling provides a unique accoustical environment, which has been used by national and international artists for recording and performing. We are happy to consider recording and performance requests that respect the values of our parish. Some of the artists and groups who have used St. Kevin's are listed below.
Phil Coulter
Phil Coulter has recorded songs in St. Kevin's Church, as well as using the church as the location for a music video. More recently, Phil's son has also recorded in St. Kevin's Church.
Liam Ó Maonlaí
Liam Ó Maonlaí, lead singer for the Hot House Flowers, has played in St. Kevin's Church with his band Ré.
Music Under the Mountains
Music Under the Mountains is an annual traditional Irish music festival, and as part of the festivals concerts are held in St. Kevin's Church. The festival has been in running since 1991 and has attracted some of the countrys biggest names in traditional Irish music.
